The 25.6m X 21.7m land area available was spanned over by a 21m span steel portal frame of 8m height. The steel portals are spaced at 6.4m centres, with one set of central bracing installed. A 3m high lean to building was constructed in concrete blockwork and a reinforced concrete slab laid to falls. As this hangar houses private aircraft of maximum height of 2.8m, possibility exists of inserting a mezzanine floor.

This construction faces onto a taxilane of Malta Internaltional Airport, with other ancillary private facilities located in the vicinity.
